Brendan Roddy is an American artist currently living in Ireland. His reflective practice examines shame and generational affect through a queer lens. He is an experienced secondary school art teacher with over 17 years in arts education. His work has been exhibited in River Tree Galleries, the George Marshall Store Gallery, and the Sidle House Gallery in Maine. His work captures the tension between vulnerability and strength. Brendan uses ceramic sculptures, drawing, and gestural language—asemic text—to reflect on the traces we leave behind and the stories we share.
